This privacy policy applies to solaratap.com.my, operated by Jana Bina Makmur Sdn Bhd (formerly Sejahtera Gemilang) — a SEDA-registered solar PV service provider based at No. 25, Wisma SCMS, Jalan BP 7/12, Bandar Bukit Puchong, 47120 Puchong, Selangor, Malaysia.

2. What information we collect

We collect personal information you voluntarily provide when you contact us for a quote, site assessment, or other inquiry. This typically includes:

• Name and contact number
• Email address
• Property address and approximate monthly TNB bill (for solar sizing)
• Any messages or notes you include in your inquiry

We also automatically collect anonymised browsing data (pages visited, time on page, referral source) via Google Analytics for the purpose of improving the website.

• Respond to your inquiry and provide a Solar ATAP quotation
• Schedule and conduct a site assessment
• Submit SEDA / TNB applications on your behalf if you proceed with installation
• Send occasional updates about your project (with your consent)

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only:

• With SEDA Malaysia, Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), and Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission) as required for Solar ATAP application processing
• With our installation team and equipment suppliers strictly for the purpose of completing your project
• When required by Malaysian law, court order, or regulatory authority

5. Cookies and analytics

6. How long we keep it

We retain inquiry data for up to 24 months from your last contact, unless you request earlier deletion. Project data (for completed installations) is retained for the duration of warranty obligations and as required by Malaysian tax law.
