1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using solaratap.com.my (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. The Site is operated by Jana Bina Makmur Sdn Bhd (formerly Sejahtera Gemilang), a company registered in Malaysia.

2. Use of the Site

You may use the Site for lawful, non-commercial information purposes — including browsing solar information, requesting quotes, and contacting us. You may not:

• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or republish content without written permission
• Use the Site to transmit viruses, spam, or unlawful content
• Misrepresent your identity when submitting contact forms
• Use automated tools to extract data at scale

3. Content and intellectual property

All site content — including text, images, logos, JSON-LD schema, code, and design — is the property of Jana Bina Makmur Sdn Bhd unless otherwise credited. News thumbnail images are sourced from publishers credited in each article (Energy-Storage.News, Malay Mail, etc.) and are used for editorial commentary purposes.

You may share short quotes with attribution and a link back to the source page. Reproducing entire articles or design elements requires prior written consent.

4. Quotations and pricing

Pricing shown on the Site (e.g. RM 12,000-55,000 ranges) is indicative based on typical Malaysian residential and commercial solar installations as of the page's publication date. Final pricing is established only after a free site assessment and depends on roof structure, system size, panel and inverter selection, and SEDA / TNB application requirements.

No quotation is binding until issued in writing as a formal proposal signed by Jana Bina Makmur Sdn Bhd.

5. No professional advice

Information on the Site — including the Solar ATAP guide, BESS articles, savings calculators, and regulatory commentary — is provided for general guidance only. It is not a substitute for a professional site assessment, electrical engineering analysis, or legal/tax advice.

Solar ATAP, NEM, SELCO, and tax incentive rules change. Always verify current rules with SEDA Malaysia, the Energy Commission, MIDA, and a qualified tax advisor before making decisions.

6. Third-party links

The Site links to third-party websites (SEDA, TNB, Energy Commission, news publishers, etc.) for reference. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices.

7. Limitation of liability

The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, Jana Bina Makmur Sdn Bhd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.

This does not limit liability under any signed installation contract — those terms are governed by the contract document, not by these Site terms.

8. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Selangor, Malaysia.
