How every JanaBina project is delivered
Whether you're installing a 5 kW residential system or a 400 kWp industrial array, the project follows the same disciplined process — only the scale changes.
1. Site assessment & design
Free on-site visit to measure roof area, orientation, shading, and electrical capacity. We model annual generation using PVsyst and produce a system design with single-line diagram. Typically 5-7 days from inquiry.
2. Quote & contract
Itemised quote covering panels, inverter, mounting, wiring, SEDA application fee, and TNB connection costs. No hidden charges. Pricing is transparent — residential ranges (RM 12k - 55k) are published openly.
3. SEDA + TNB application
We handle the complete Solar ATAP / NEM / SELCO application package, the TNB grid-connection forms, Energy Commission compliance documentation, and (for businesses) GITA tax allowance preparation.
4. Installation
1-3 days for residential, 1-3 weeks for commercial. SEDA-registered installers, ST-licensed electrical contractor on-site, full PPE, and zero safety incidents across our portfolio.
5. Commissioning & testing
TNB inspection, system commissioning, and performance testing under load. Customer is shown the monitoring app, generation data, and how to read the bidirectional meter.
6. Aftercare & warranty
25-year linear performance warranty on panels, 10-12 year inverter warranty (extendable), annual maintenance options, remote monitoring with alert escalation, and a Puchong-based service team for fast response.
Tier-1 panels and inverters only
We don't use white-label or unbranded equipment. Here's why and what we install.
Tier-1 panels (BloombergNEF classification) come from manufacturers with bankable warranties, automated production, and a track record of staying in business long enough to honour the warranty. The savings on cheap panels disappear the moment a panel fails out of warranty in year 8 and you can't reach the manufacturer.
Our standard panel brands: Canadian Solar, JA Solar, Trina Solar, Longi, Risen. Inverters: Huawei, Sungrow, Goodwe, Solis. For battery storage: Sungrow, BYD, Pylontech, Huawei LFP modules.
For our 70.68 kWp Ipoh food-manufacturing project, we used 114× Canadian Solar panels generating 99,910 kWh/year. The 104 kWp Tasek Ipoh installation used 168× Canadian Solar 620W panels — choices made to fit roof structure and electrical balance, not just the cheapest option on the market.
